The "dri" is 3d acceleration. The drivers from winischhofer are only 2d drivers. 
There are no 3d drivers (dri) for SIS651.

The quality is a different issue. Remember the picture quality on a tv is 
generally very poor. On mine I am unable to read standard xterm font.
