I tried the "extra audio Buffering" as suggested but I am still having the problem.
Is there a way to view the recording frame by frame to figure out if it is the recording or the playback that is causing the glitches?

You may want to try the "Extra Audio Buffering" option in the recordings
setup screen. I had a similar issue, and this seemed to fix it. I also was
experiancing choppy audio on fades to black near commercial breaks, but you
don't seem to have that symptom.
