Yes.  I assume anyone who uses Jarod's guide for configuring
a universal remote is also using the PVR-x50 remote since the
guide deals with setting up using RC-5 codes (which the PVRs
use).  The remote I mentioned should work well for any setup
for Myth though since the availability of extended functionality
keys is the key issue.  Any codeset emulation can be set with
either this remote or the RS remote and then the "missing"
keys can be setup individually to allow all the buttons to send
a code for LIRC to interpret.
