[mythtv-users] Bugs with editing recordings

I looked through the archive, and I didn't see theses mentioned before, so
hopefully I'm not restating a known issue here.

When I go to edit a recording, and I want to change the length of the jump
increment, the old value is not erased, but remains on the screen
overlapping the new value. For example, it starts out showing "1 second",
but if you press up to change it to "5 seconds", instead of erasing the
words "1 second" and replacing them with "5 seconds", it just writes "5
seconds" on top of the old words. If you keep going up through the rest of
the possible values, eventually you have a whole mess of letters and numbers
all overlapping each other. If you jump forward or backward, the value is
reset when the screen is redrawn, but if you change the value again, you end
up with a clutter of overlapping stuff again. At least most of the time,
anyway. Occasionally, after jumping it will work correctly, but then if you
jump again it will go back to screwing up.

Second, sometimes when you skip forward or backwards, the slider bar jumps
to the new position, but is not erased in the previous position, so that you
have two slider bars showing up.

Finally, some of the time when you jump backwards and forwards, the slider
moves to the new position, but the image of the program does not change, but
instead still shows the image from the previous time that you jumped from.

I originally noticed these problems with 0.14, but I upgraded to the current
cvs a few days ago, and I still see them. Other than that though, the cvs
version has been much more stable for me than 0.14. Mythfrontend went almost
a week before it finally crashed on me for the first time today, while I was
going back from the watch recordings menu to the previous menu. Things are
looking good!
