[mythtv-users] Trouble with LIRC and Myth

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I did copy the
/mythtv/configfiles/lircrc.example file to the myth user's .mythtv
directory as lircrc.

When Myth starts, I do see in the system log that Myth is connecting to
lirc successfully, however I am not running lirc 0.7pre4. I'm running
0.6.6.

Is the version of lirc the problem? When I downloaded it, I thought I
was grabbing the newest version.

Thanks for your help,
Michael

I believe I have lirc working correctly because I can see that it is receiving codes from my remote. I installed lirc from source, and ran irrecord to set up my remote. I followed the documentation and also recompiled myth after enabling native lirc support in settings.pro.
