I'm an NTSC user, so I can't say for sure, but that would probably 
work.  I think the person who wrote the Wiki specified his tuner type in 
the ivtv options, though.  Try both ways if necessary.

Note that you'll also need something like:

options ivtv ivtv_debug=1 ivtv_pal=1 tuner=28
options saa7127 enable_output=1 output_select=0 pal=1

as described in the Wiki pages.  The NTSC page describes how to 
determine the proper value for output_select, etc.

It is.  Remember, though, that the PAL page is an addition to the NTSC 
page, which walks you through setting up your system and the card 
(including it's TV out).  Even though you don't plan to use the TV out, 
you should probably configure it appropriately, just so you will know 
that the crashes you experience are not caused by an improper 
configuration of the modules associated with TV out.

Also, it will allow you to see the picture quality of the PVR-350, which 
might make you reconsider which TV out to use. :)
