Myth "prefers" whichever card is defined as cardid 1 in your database.  
To change the order of cards in your database, you could:

- run mythtv-setup
- answer "yes" to clearing capture card settings (1st question)
- set up your 'preferred' card first, then set up other card(s)

Or, you could edit the database by hand, if you know what you're 
doing...
