[mythtv-users] TVOverScan works, but can't center picture

I played around with XF86Config for my GeForce4 MX 440 card, and was
able to get the entire picture on screen with

	Option	"TVOverScan" "0.3"

However, the picture is flush with the left of the screen while having a
lot of extra space on the other three sides. If I could just get the
picture centered I could probably use an overscan setting of 0.5.

In myth I've tried changing various combinations of TV Settings >
Playback > Overscan > Scan Displacement --and-- Appearance > Scan
Settings > GUI X Offset (with "Use GUI Size for TV Playback" checked).
But none of these make a difference, even if I restart mythfrontend, and
even if I put in wildly large values.

Am I missing something? From what I understand, there's no XF86Config
setting that will help center the image. Right?

Thanks.
