  Some might say that if you are an experienced user then you don't
need packages at all, you could do everything from source if you wanted :)

 KnoppMyth certainly looks like a good place for a newbie to start if they
want to get it up and running quickly. And the fact that you can run a 
front end off a cd is nice.
