But you could still create a port-forwarding ssh tunnel, then use 
Firefox/Konq/etc on your local machine, or launch a browser on the Myth box, 
assuming you have X11 forwarding enabled in sshd... =)

I'm all for any cool js additions, though I agree it would be optimal to not 
rely on it for any core functionality.
