Another thing worth noting.. if you use lm_sensors, the fan will go into
high speed when lm_sensors starts up and will never throttle down. This is
because lm_sensors lacks the features necessary to throttle the fan down
and it's documented as such. Mine never seems to throttle the fan up to
the high speed after it's booted though (even when the surrounding room was
up nearly 90degF).
