[mythtv-users] Almost got it; mythweb can't connect to mysql; PVR350 TV out not working

I know I've taken more than my share of posts, but I'm almost there. I
can view and hear TV on my PC, and besides trying to get lirc working, I
have only 2 problems left. 

Ran into a problem installing mythweb. This is obviously a php/apache
problem, but hoping someone can give me a hand. I'm running Redhat 9 and
installed the web server as part of the Redhat installation. I
downloaded and installed php-4.3.3 and installed it with:
./configure --with-mysql
make
make install
I copied the ini like the INSTALL says and added the "AppType ..." to
the httpd.conf. I then restarted httpd. When I try to connect to mythweb
it still gives me the error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in
/var/www/html/mythweb/includes/init.php on line 51

I'm also having a problem with the TV out on my card(PVR350). Neither
the video or the sound is coming out. I believe I have it enabled
correctly in the Mythtv setup. Any suggestions? I'd really like to use
this for my home theater if the video quality is good enough.
