I'm using 2.4.22 just plain vanilla (patched with wlan actually). I got
the latest ivtv from
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/axboe/ivtv/
which has been patched (BTW, it seems to be changing hourly lately I
would suggest subscribing to the ivtv mailing list)
Then I just followed the instructions in ivtv-fb.h (it really should be
put into a README).
tv-out works great, so does mythgallery and mythweather. mythdvd and
mythvideo do not work (for me at least).
I think that was about it. I can't remember if you need the framebuffer
options from the kernel (I think you need fbcon-cfb32.o) Let me know
how it goes.
