[mythtv-users] Increased recording size

Has anything changed with the latest version to do with the format used for
recordings, or any hints as to what I can look for to figure out why
recently recorded programs are taking vast amounts more space?  Have I just
failed to read some important note in the updates for this version?

It's jumped from just under 1Gb per hour to between 2 and 2.5 - as an
example, several Simpsons episodes recorded in the past are 300Mb for 20
minutes, whereas now they're coming in at 900Mb.

To the best of my knowledge, nothing's changed in my recording profiles (or
at least, I've not changed anything) and I'm not currently at home to look
more closely.

Looking back at my recorded programs via mythweb I can see it's changed in
the last week, so it's not related to my changing the contrast/brightness
settings which would have been understandable since it was recording more
detail now it's not so washed out...  That would fit with my upgrading to
0.12.

Any suggestions?
