that's an easy one to fix..
in the script where the SQL query is add an " ORDER BY starttime" so it
looks like this.
mysql -uroot  mythconverg -B --exec "select
chanid,starttime,endtime,title,subtitle from recorded order by
starttime;" >/tmp/mythlink.$$
