MythTv will always use the first card you defined, and only schedule a
parallel recording to the 2nd tuner card. So you probably have a similar
setup as i had. To make the PVR card the default one, i think what would
work is to start setup on the backend and answer Yes to the first
question 'clear all capture card settings' only.

I took a slightly more complicate route to make my PVR350 the default
card by dropping and recreating the capturecard, cardinput, codecparams and
recordingprofiles[1] tables and re-defining my tuner cards in the proper
order. Only afterwards i found that option in setup to delete the tuner
cards settings, but my way also worked without a problem.
