I think the tv-out from my GeForce4 TI4200 is ok, the tv-out from my
GeForce 2 GTS is so-so, and the tv-out from my xbox is really nice.  The
tv-out from the cheap AverKey VGA-TV converters I have suck.  I might
have previously said on this list I thought they looked ok, but there is
no comparison to even the GeForce2 GTS I have.

Of course, I am not saying that MythTV recordings look as good as the
broadcast... well probably not quite.  It's so convenient though that I
haven't watched normal TV in so long I'm not sure I remember what it
looks like.  In defense of MythTV, I have cheap capture cards and
terrible cable reception and that has a lot to do with the way the final
playback looks IMO.
