You are lucky to not buy the Asus A7N8X-VM. We tried and we find that the
SuperI/O chipset is not well supported by Linux or maybe the parallel port
is not well supported by LCDProc. (Kernel 2.4.20)

Plus, I was unable to turn on IO-APIC.
