[mythtv-users] All but volume control working with MythVideo (mplayer)?

I've made a few changes in my input.conf file for mplayer to make the
keybindings like those in MythTV.  They all work with the exception of
volume control.  I've remapped [ and ] to their respective volume
adjustments in input.conf.  However, this doesn't change anything in
Mplayer.  0 and 9, even though they're commented out, still work.  I'm using
xmodmap to remap keys, but that doesn't (seem) to be the issue as I've
tested a remapped key.

I'm stumped.

Any ideas?
