I have mine set at 3500000/6000000. I get 1 hour for 1782MB. The video
quality looks the same as VHS to me, and better than my Tivo Basic quality.

I plan to try again for 2200000/4000000 so that I can have a profile
usable for putting an hour TV show on a CD without transcoding. Last
time I tried setting the bitrate lower, it seemed the compression
requirements were a bit too much for the card, quality really dropped
and I had several frame drops. I don't think they optimized the encoder
for low bitrates.
