How about a button in the recorded programs screen next to each 
recording (like the delete button), that would request the recorded 
program be transcoded?

-could it even be possible to load the cut list automatically if 
preferred and then transcode?

While I'm at it, how about an option to show other times the program is 
being aired in case of conflicts (maybe even automatically suggesting 
an alternate recording timeslot)?

I know it's always risky to ask for features when you can't contribute 
any coding, but I just wnated to pass along my thoughts. I just really 
like using the web interface to myth as I find it a lot easier to find 
programs, manage them and generally navigate the options than the 
onscreen one with a remote...

I'd therefore personally love to have the option to access all the 
setups and manage the mythtv setup completely from a web browser so I 
can access it also when I'm traveling or at the office.
It would also make it a lot easier for anyone who want to support 
machines for friends or maybe even future mythtv box customers as have 
been mentioned previously on the list
