[mythtv-users] ALSA-- module wont load

Hey all,
      I am working through a fresh install, and having some troubles with
my sound once more.
I cant seem to load the es1371 module.
I have loaded the snd-es1371 module but   #insmod es1371 gives me erros
with and unresolved symbol in es1371.o
and similarly modprobe tells me that insmod fails

Can anyone help me get this going?  ASAP
