[mythtv-users] DVD Ripping Failure

Hello,

Get the following error (or something similar) everytime I try to rip a 
DVD with anything except perfect quality..

 transcode command will be: transcode -i 
/mnt/store/dvdrip/SPINAL_TAP/vob/ -g 720x480 -f 0,1 -M 2 -V -j 0,8,0,8 
-y xvid -w 1618 -a 1 -o /mnt/store/video/SPINAL_TAP.avi --print_status 
20 --color 0
18:31:25: job thread beginning to rip dvd title
18:51:08: Error: DVDPerfectThread read failed for 3 blocks at 1605079
18:51:10: job failed: job dvd 1 2 3 0 -1 /mnt/store/video/SPINAL_TAP
18:51:29: a client socket has been closed

Two Samsung DVD readers both do the same thing (different models) but a 
new Light-On reader seems to work ok.  Possibly some setting I need to 
tweak for the drive?
