[mythtv-users] LIRC and Hauppauge question

Hence my prior post.  The Hauppauge IR receiver only responds to RC-5 
formatted codes.  I
am guessing that Onkyo is not RC-5.

You will have to either use another IR receiver (see LIRC site for the 
serial roll-your-own) or
find a universal remote that has a sufficiently complex RC-5 emulation 
(which is what my
post was asking about).  Hope you have some luck.  If I find a solution off 
this list I will post it.
