[mythtv-users] XvMC and Freestyle cards?

I saw a post on another topic (PiP) that implied Freestyle cards work with 
XvMC for MPEG2 hardware decoding.

Does XvMC work with Freestyle cards? and if so, how stable/mature does it seem 
to be at this point?
