[mythtv-users] RE: ALSA sound, unresolved symbols

Rats. That's what I thought signs were pointing to as well. OK, so how do I 
enable soundcore support in my kernel? I am kind of a newbie... at least, I've 
never recompiled a kernel (if that's what I need to do). 

Perhaps someone could give me some step-by-step instructions, or point me to 
a good website howto?
