[mythtv-users] Possible Memory Leak?

Could mandrake 9.1 include a kernel that has this memory bug?  Do you
think it would be wise to recompile with a new kernel from kernel.org?

Thanks for the pointers, I'll try to get more info.  I agree that it
sounds
more like a memory kernel module problem given what everyone has said.
Sorry that I didn't give more info in my orginial post I was really just
looking for some advice on how to diagnose the problem.

The most likely thing is a kernel bug that occurs when the in-kernel
disk 
write buffers are full, which would be entirely consistant with both of
their 
bug reports.
