[mythtv-users] a/v switchboxes

Another new one I read about in the new issue of PSM (Playstation
magazine) is the Pelican PL-957 Pro System Selector Pro.

http://www.pelicanperformance.com/index2.html  -> Universal button on
the far right. You should see the PL-957 listed on the left with a
small picture.

Details:

8 AV/Svideo inputs
3 sets of component inputs
3 ethernet inputs (yes, ethernet)
3 Optical Audio inputs
2 outputs I think.

It's not remote capable, though, which is a bummer. According to PSM it
lists for ~$100. Froogle only finds one site that carries it,
Bestbuy.com. Not sure if this link will work for others:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?CategoryID=cat08130&id=105182626
8119&skuId=5406081&type=product&ref=06&loc=01

Supposedly $89 + free bonus $20 gift card...hmmmm.....might be buying
one myself? This 957 appears to be made by Electro Source/Impulse.

There's also a PL-960 that Best Buy lists that is a Pelican brand one.
Very confusing, I'm sure these are OEM'd from someone else.
