[mythtv-users] M179 Installation Problems

Yesterday i've got my new M179 which i put immediately into my box with
my old Leadtek TV2000 XP deluxe, that went pretty much painless. 
After that i followed instructions found on the forum, installed ivtv with the patch
for M179, download new firmware (288) and extracted it, added required lines to /etc/modules.conf.
ran 
#//sbin/depmod -a
#//sbin/modprobe ivtv
#dmesg | grep ivtv - returned following information

ivtv: SGarray_size = 340, DSGarray_size = 16

That's where i'm stuck at the moment. My new card doesn't work in xawtv and in mythtv
running 
/usr/lib/ivtv/test_ioctl -a 
returns list of all registers with failed status.

What i'm doing wrong? Did i miss something during my installation process?
