[mythtv-users] nuvexport deinterlace?

I've been able to use & burn an SVCD using nuvexport.  All looks great &
went well, except for one thing... 

When I play this SVCD on my stand-alone DVD player, the SVCD plays
"jerky" when there's motion (not high motion or anything complex). 
Basically, I'd like to burn my Simpsons & South Park episodes to
SVCD...  I've read a post

How do I use the -deinterlace command (do I need to edit a file, say
"export_SVCD.pm" ?)

Is anybody else having this same problem, or am I doing something
wrong?  Thanks for all the help everyone has provided me, it's been VERY
