You chopped a key part of that paragraph. Here's the whole thing:

"The only thing MythTV doesnt have is watching TV shows remotely on my
WinXP server. Im sure one day this will be added (maybe via videolan) 
but
I can deal without live TV for now."

I believe the lack of live TV was the bigger issue. I suppose you could 
schedule a recording via MythWeb and immediately start watching in on 
the Windows machine using that tack though... Not exactly elegant, and 
I dunno if WiMP would puke or not...
