I currently do this, but not as often as I'd like to because I'm too
lazy to: 1) remember to delete the file afterwards, and 2) having
to delete the current recording before being allowed to go back to
LiveTV (what if the show isn't as good as I thought it'd be?).

Right (mentioned in reason 2 above). Personally, I like the channel-
changing-only feature during LiveTV. I will probably implement this for
myself if I get annoyed enough. If it works well, then maybe I'll
share with the list later.
