hmm, I'll check on that and fix it if that's the case.

You don't need mplayer if you're doing svcd.  well, not if you have a
recent-ish version of nuvexport, anyway..  and the others are broken. 
I'm checking my audio sync issues now, and if they've gone away, I'll
put up a newer version of nuvexport - with better documentation.
