Ok, thanks to the latest patches from Geoffrey Hausheer, I've finally
been able to finish my cutlist-friendly svcd mpeg encoder!

It's available at:

http://forevemore.net/myth/nuvexport.tar.bz2

Eventually, the rest of this script should get rewritten to work
directly with mythtranscode's new fifo settings, since they kick the
pants off of anything we've previously had. That said, svcd is the only
portion of my script that takes advantage of this (I'm happy to take
input about the other sections, or new ones that should be added).

If you want to do svcd, please be warned that though the script allows
you to use mp2enc for audio and mplex for multiplexing, you really
should install toolame for audio and tcmplex for multiplexing. I've had
HORRIBLE luck multiplexing svcd's with mplex, and tcmplex works
flawlessly.

For those interested in making bin/cue images, I have a separate script
called chapterize.pl that will do this for you (it even adds chapter
markers every 5 minutes). I've included this just-because, and will
probably someday improve it to make it a bit easier to use (it was
written to remux/chapterize 2-3 disk movie rips, and is not particularly
well-suited to smaller rips).

Anyway, enjoy, keep me posted with how things work, etc....

-Chris
