[mythtv-users] Audio looping and replay

I just finally got MythTV installed on gentoo. Amazing product. I can
hardly wait to get out of the "testing" phase and actually start using
it :)

I have a standard SoundBlaster Live! (older model with the Live Drive)
and an ATI TV-Wonder (non-ve) tuner card. I can watch, pause and record
perfectly, but my sound seems to be messed up. I can't seem to get ANY
of the optional sound inputs working on my sound card. I tried hooking a
cable from the TVWonder's output to the Line In on the soundcard, but I
get nothing. I am using the OSS drivers...

After googling through the archives a while, I found that it is best to
use the MIC input on this card, because the TVWonder output is "weak?"
Beats me, but I finally got some sound.

However, whenever I am watching Live TV, the audio is two seconds behind
the video, and it seems to be looping. Meaning whatever was just said, I
can hear again with a few second delay...

I plan to eventually purchase a PVR-250, so this might go away with
that, but I would like to know what I screwed up :)

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.
