Got MythVideo loaded with files and I have several suggestions.

Bear in mind... I have thousands of files... this may not apply to everyone
yet, but as colllections and data storage grows... you know.

1. Database fields needed.
        Category, Parent Category, Playlist

This way we can at least seperate TV from Movies, But I want them
also by show and season,
the two category fields can handle this easily like a taxonomy.
Alot of my videos are more than one file and adding them to
playlists will help tremendously,
could be nice for Music Videos too.

2. A setup field for filetypes to include/exclude in the database, I
certainly don't need/want all these
text files and jpgs that are associated with my videos listed an non
playable. I have to go run
some queries on the database anytime a file is added/deleted in the
search to set the showlevel
to 0 but they still are just "in the way" in Video Manager.

3. Would be nice to have a hotkey to jump to the next alpha letter or
something in Browse (unless
of course I am lame and missed it)

4. Does video manager have to load the entire file structure and compare
the DB everytime?
Can't that be a button inside the manager, it takes about 5 minutes
to load me.

5. Would it be possible to break out the database queries into someplace
that is user editable without
having to recompile? I can think of several things I am going to
want this for, even putting it into
the setup would be nice so sorting, etc can be changed.

6. Can we have another lookup instead of just IMDB? Breaking this into
the config and allowing the
url, regex and db map to be edited without a recompile can be nice.
For example, I would like to
        search epguides.com for TV shows.

I will be building a pretty extensive set of database tools related to this
and will post it to xtcp when I have a few things ready.

Thanks
