1 Matrix Mod Chip
Pogo pins, didn't really want to solder the xbox. But in retrospec, I'd
get the iron out and save a buck.

2. Yes, I can boot a game disk, DVD etc.. My box has been banned from live,
due to the nifty eject trick (enable/disable mod chip)
This is Bios dependant, you'll need a version of Evox. I'm still using
2.5. V1.0 xbox.

3. Yes, but it's not perfect yet. There are issues with the buttons
repeating at insane rates wich makes it quite the challeng to use. 0.8
release will lock up the frontend, it's been fixed in CVS.

4. Native TV out works great, at least with the Composite cable that comes
with it. The Component out is black and white, doesn't work well....

5. It wasn't so bad really. Started with Ed's Debian 0.3.1 release.
Followed the debian install instructions from www.mythtv.org.
A few small issues when it comes to getting the dvd remote to work, have
to remove a module that defaults.
I still have occasional lockups, and I'm not sure what the culprit is.
I also still have to boot from cd-rw to get the linux to start properly.

All in all it makes a decent frontend. There are still alot of bugs to be
worked out, and I've not had much time recently to work with it.
