Hi John, that probably sounds like a good way to go and keeps everyone
happy. I had just used a second timer which is working fine but it would be
better if the channel timeout setting specified by the user wasn't ignored.
What I have found is that after a while even if the the channel does get a
lock that the front end puts out an unknown decoder error anyway and I
can't use the recording. Was going to look into that further but have done
so yet.
