First, this is a mythtv-users question.  Secondly, MythTV doesn't have
anything to do with your hardware, firmware, or other OS level configuration
other than using the APIs provided to access those devices.  You should seek
assistance from your Linux distribution mailing lists/forums/wiki or perhaps
the LinuxTV folks for specific questions.
