Osma, have you considered to implement other fixups? I've been running
something like 6 months with local Finnish fixup that:
* checks for 'Stereo' text in description, and if finds sets flags
accordingly and strips 'Stereo' text from the description.
* finds event numbers (partnumer and parttotal), like '2/10' from the
description and sets event fields accordingly
* removes STUPID prefixes that are present in some movie titles and also
with some children programs, including: 'Elokuva:, SubLeffa:,
LauantaiAction:, TV2:' prefixes. Doesn't strip 'FST:' prefix because
that suggest Swedish program and is relevant information.
* removes ':' and '::' prefixes from the program titles. At least couple
of months ago these kind of titles were sometimes present at YLE DVB-T
channels. This is/was a bug somewhere in YLE/Digita side and was visible
also in YLE's own website containing program listings. Don't know if
this has been already fixed since I've been running with this fixup..
* removes parental ratings from the titles and moves them to
descriptions (e.g. (K15), (K-18))
* checks for ':' in the program tile and if found, splits title to title
and subtitle accordingly.
I've missed the "rerun" strip that you have. That's really needed e.g.
with some MTV3 programs.
I haven't pushed these forward because I don't know what of these fixups
should be enabled for all users. I like these but others probably don't.
Also some of these fixups (e.g. subtitle) go wrong in some special cases
so these do not work 100%.
Was it stuarta that mentioned somewhere user-defined fixups.. those
would be very handy to handle these kind of fixups..
