I have a working KnoppMyth & DVB setup, and am trying
to build another machine from scratch using Qt/Embedded.
After setting up MySQL and populating the database,
setup says:
% setup/setupQSocket::writeBlock: Socket is not open
QSocket::writeBlock: Socket is not open
QSocket::writeBlock: Socket is not open
QSocket::writeBlock: Socket is not open
No Qt/Embedded server appears to be running.
If you want to run this program as a server,
add the "-qws" command-line option.
% setup/setup -qws
Creating mouse: Auto
QSqlDatabase: QMYSQL3 driver not loaded
QSqlDatabase: available drivers:
QSqlDatabase: QMYSQL3 driver not loaded
QSqlDatabase: available drivers:
Unable to connect to database!
No error type from QSqlError? Strange...
Unable to open database:
Driver error was:

Now, I am trawling through the mythtv-users archive looking
for relevant info, but it is very slow going (140MB of mail!)
Is there some way of working out what is failing here?
P.S. I am also trying to get a Mac OS X happening,
but have virtual thunk link errors with libmythtv.
Is there a good Qt users mailing list around?
