I've seen something similar with viaslice hw decoder, but with livetv and
720x576 X resolution.
If I use 720x576 and watch a mpeg2 recording, part of  the picture is
outside the screen.

Changing resolution to 800x600 fixes the problem, mpeg4 recordings works
just fine with bot 800x600 and 720x576 resolution.

I also changed the gui to compensate for overscan, but I used the same
resolution for both gui and playback.
