[mythtv] Re:Channel change speed

I also use DirecTV with a serial change script and channel changes take 
6 or 7 seconds. I am using two 80GB disks in a RAID 0 (striping) 
configuration with reiserfs on top of it. I'm not at my machine right 
now but I remember getting almost 70 MB/sec using hdparm.
