I hadn't heard of btaudio, but after you mentioned it I guessed what it was.
So I loaded the btaudio module and disconnected the cable between the tv card
and the sound card. After some trial and error and finding this website
(http://grox.net/misc/radio/) I got this far:
$ sox -r 32000 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp3 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp
It sounds good except for a constant extremely high pitch background sound.
It's the same kind of sound that all televisions make (even when they're
muted); the difference is that this sound gets louder as I turn the volume
up, while a normal TV's background noise stays the same no matter what the
volume is. Is there any way to get rid of this?

By the way, does this mean that I can have more than one of these tv cards
working simultaneously without any soundcard mess?

Much thanks,
Tom
