[mythtv] sizing the tv-out image

I was playing with the tv-out and I noticed that there are black spaces =
mostly below the X desktop (like 3/4"), but also some black space above =
as well. I tried using xvidtune, but of course, Tv's have a pretty fixed =
scan range. Is there anything I can do to enlarge the X desktop to cut =
out the black space?
