 based on your decription, I don't think that the problem you're seeing is
 the same as mine & anon's.  I've never noticed the issue on an upconverted
 program, atleast that I can remember, I always see it on true HD
 programming (720p most likely since I watch fox & abc most).  There are
 very things that I watch that are upconverted.

 If you anything from recordings, I can prob recreate this fairly
 frequently.

 Nothing bad seems to occur from it, skip, etc seems to work..  so I
 haven't really bothered to report it.  It's more of a visial annoyance.
