As well as the recording start timestamp being in the database in many
places, it is also used as part of the filename for the recording
file.  However, since the filename is recorded in the database, you
would not need to change the filename if you were able to change the
time for a recording.  But that would be confusing later if you were
ever looking at the filenames.
