[mythtv-users] Leanfront - any way to fast-play video rather than n-second skip

Coming from the full-blown MythTV frontend, there were two ways to skip 
commercials that weren't automatically flagged:
1) Hit the directional pad to do an n-second (e.g. 30 second) skip
2) Hit the fast-forward button to increase the playback speed, and if my 
memory serves me correctly, it's possible to increase/decrease the 
playback speed as necessary.

The general gist is that depending on what you prefer, you can guess how 
many 30-second taps you might have to do to get past the commercials, or 
you can watch the video zooming by and visually be able to tell when the 
commercial has ended.

Since I've switched to Leanfront, things have worked well, except for 
the fact that option 2) above seems to not be there.

Am I looking in the wrong place?  Or is there something about the Fire 
Stick hardware/remote that makes option 2) infeasible?  Or perhaps is it 
merely just not implemented in the software?
