It works with both original fire stick basic edition 1080 and fire stick 
4K. The 4K is faster, and I assume the 4K max will be even faster. From 
time to time the 4K is on sale for $20 - $30.

There are probably many streaming devices that will do fine, I have an 
onn 4K from Walmart ($19) and it is perfect. They are currently out of 
stock, so they may be discontinued.
