been looking for the optimum mythfrontend playback on an RPI4. I've pretty
much mastered what the RPI OS Bullseye 64 bit will do and it's very close
to really good.

I recently discovered that the Endeavour OS folks can install Archlinux on
either a x86_64 or RPI4 very easily and I've gotten both to work, but on
RPI4 I'm having a few issues.

I'm only testing mythfrontend on the RPI4 with the backend being my
production BE. My first test was to run mythfrontend while running a
Desktop environment. In my case it's KDE Plasma 5.25. the frontend could
not use UPNP to find the server maybe because of my firewall. But I could
manually file in the database ip and password, and that worked.

In fact I could play the recording with remarkable quality. However, like
when running RPI OS 64 bit I usually get the best quality running from the
command line without out the DE.

So to that end I disabled sddm.service and rebooted to the command line. I
use the command:
QT_QPA_EGLFS_ALWAYS_SET_MODE="1" QT_QPA_PLATFORM=eglfs
QT_QPA_EGLFS_KMS_CONFIG=./pi_mythfrontend.json mythfrontend --noupnp
--logpath /home/jim

It's all one line in the .sh file. However, once at the main minute I
can't get it to respond to any keyboard commands so I can't test anything.

The kernel is Linux rpi4-plasma 5.15.49-1-rpi-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jun
24 13:24:15 MDT 2022 aarch64 GNU/Linux

I've attached the log file

Any ideas on this?
